Very good insight for returning the serve.

Coach – I studied old McEnroe matches – he used to love to take the return down the line. His strategy may have been ti take extra risks bc the server is expected to hold serve anyway so why not go for a little more. What do you think about this?

Yes and also McEnroe also approached behind his return which meant he needed to go down the line more often. Calculated higher risk shots are OK in my book.
