The slice forehand is a rarity in today’s game, however there are some appropriate times to use one. In today’s lesson, Brady demonstrates 3 times it’s advantageous to hit a slice forehand.

    Club level 60 plus Dbls. you see a lot of this shot along with the chip and lob! Master the technique of the chip and you will win a lot of points in Dbls.

    You shouldn’t be so negative on this shot. It is rarely used or practiced. However, since most players haven’t encountered it, it can be very effective as a DTL approach especially on grass. In general, hitting rarely seen shots to awkward placements usually take opponents out of rhythm and draw errors.
