The two-handed backhand has dominated the game over the past few decades–and while the stroke has many obvious benefits, there are some unique challenges to having two hands on the grip. In today’s lesson, Brady addresses several technique “musts” that you should do on all two-handed backhands.

    Loved points # 2 and 3 on your video. Sometimes I asked my students to hit forehand with their non dominant arm for awhile to get the feel of using the non dominant arm to power the backhand. As for point #1, it works if the ball coming at you around your waist height but not so easy if the ball bounced high.

    How about when the ball is a slow and high bounce? My 2hander is fine returning a low strong shot but tend to spin it into the net when I need to generate my own pace

    Due to an injury I have had to learn a two handed forehand…suggestions??..I’m 76-
