In doubles each player has certain responsibilities in every point they play. In today’s lesson, Brady demonstrates the 3 main jobs of the server position.

    When the server approaches the net, should the server protect the middle or the outside or simply play the more neutral position on the approach?

      Good question…more neutral. As you transition your partner should help cover the middle (with you backing them up). A shot down the middle should not get by both of you. The only way an approaching server gets passed is by an angled shot, so you have to be able to cover some of that.
