Being able to hit a ball on the rise can be especially useful when you want to approach the net, as it provides many more opportunities to do so. In today’s lesson, Brady demonstrates when and how to take the ball early to attack the net and get put-away volleys.

Brady – Great video lesson. The only thing I might say is when you step in and take the ball on the rise it’s still around waist high. When I step in being only 5’8” those balls are often up around shoulder height.
